This page describes oraleo.co, the public site. It has one form on it, it asks for two things, and this is what happens to them.
The signed-in product at app.oraleo.co holds more than this — an account, practice recordings, the reviews written from them — and it is not described here.
What the form collects
The email address you type, and the exam window you choose. That is the whole of what the form asks for.
What we record beside it
So that we can show what you agreed to, a submission is stored with:
- the date and time you sent it
- the wording of the consent line above the button, and its version
- the IP address the submission reached our servers from
- the identifying string your browser sends with every request
- the page that referred you, if your browser sent one
Why we keep that
Canada's anti-spam legislation asks an organisation to be able to produce what a recipient agreed to, and when. An address and a date are not evidence of consent on their own, so we keep the rest of it.
It is used for that and for nothing else. It is not profiled, not scored, and not used to decide anything about you.
What we send you
A note now, confirming you are on the list. One more when a place opens. Nothing else goes to an address collected here.
Getting off the list
Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. Opening it does nothing on its own — scanners and preview panes open links without anybody reading them — so the page it lands on shows a button, and pressing that is what removes you.
Once an address has been unsubscribed, submitting the form again will not put it back. We have no way to tell that the person typing an address is the person who owns it, so coming back is something we do by hand, at your request.
Who else sees it
Your address is held in our own database, on our own server. A third-party email service delivers the messages on our instructions and holds what it needs to do that.
It is not sold, not rented, and not shared with anyone else.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising tags and no third-party scripts. Nothing on it follows you anywhere.
Having it deleted
Write to us and we will delete the row, the consent record with it, and tell you when it is done. You do not have to give a reason, and you do not need an account.
